| Professor Barclay was awarded the Polar Medal for his propagation
research in the Antarctic. In 1993 he was awarded the ITU Silver Medal for his chairmanship of the first Radiocommunication Assembly. In 1994 he was awarded the OBE for services to Radiocommunications. In 2007 he received the IGY Gold Award. |
